How this premium indie shortlist was assembled

We start from paid App Store cards only. Free-with-ads titles are out of scope for this wellhead.

1. Open the public listing and capture rating, review count, price, size, OS, version, age rating, and update date.
2. Refuse fields the store does not publish — especially download totals on iOS.
3. Write one review per ranked app under /reviews.
4. Stamp every fact block with 22 October 2026.
5. Keep the list at three so the ranking stays a comparison, not a directory.

Re-checks replace the date on the homepage and in the review passport. We do not quietly rewrite old numbers.
